The most expensive wine isn’t always the best. Nor is the most expensive tour the best. You are not giving anything up in my low prices with wine knowledge to any other wine tour company. They are just charging more money.
My rate is a tad too low for the quality of my tour. The average hourly wine tour at $85 ends up being $700 to $800 for the day.
I’m not motivated by money, but I am by competition. I feel I am your best choice for a wine guide in Napa or Sonoma Valley. I bring my passion for small wineries and my experience as part of a winery family. My desire to give you an amazing experience is unmatched.
I get more clients and repeat business by not being a yes person.
Wine tour drivers who charge by the hour will often drive you to the furthest stop first in order to make the tour take longer. The last winery is often the one they know is the longest tasting. Few people think about the time when they are on the tour.
I drive SUVs, not limousines. This keeps costs low, and it lets us visit the best wineries in the mountain vineyards where a limo would get stuck.
My greatest influence with my wine tours is getting my clients lunch while visiting a winery. Most wineries prefer food to not be brought in, due to permits and food affecting their sales process.
Vsattui is the most visited wineries in the United States, because they are the only winery with a permit to be a delicatessen, but I don’t go to wineries with lines of people as a main philosophy.
Some wineries have food pairings like Be cellars, Del Dotto, and Robert Sinskey to name a few. Some now offer lunch and others provide food for those in the know.
