Lunch!

I’ve partnered with a few wineries to do lunch at reasonable prices.

My favorite winery (that wishes to not be named) does a lunch for $60 per person that includes the tasting fee.

Another winery that also wishes to not be named has a restaurant cater a lunch for only $35. The tasting is separate at $50 and is waived with 3 bottle purchase.

I’ve found the best use of time is to have me pick up the food and bring it to you at the winery.

Here are some of my favorites:

In Saint Helena/Calistoga
I like Clif Family Food Truck. They do fancy bruschetta’s that change based on the season. We sometimes eat at the winery, but rarely do tastings. It was picked as the #1 food truck in America. They are the same owners as the Clif power bar.

Yes, everyone goes to Gott’s. I do sometimes too, but ordering the food before is crucial. The line can get crazy.

In Napa

I like Melted. It’s a $10 waffle sandwich pressed into a panini. My clients like it because it’s different. I like it because it’s quick I’m in and out in 15 minutes.

C Casa in the Oxbow Market is another option. It’s a Michelin Star fancy Mexican place.

In Yountville
I love Protea. They have well made sandwiches. Thomas Keller’s Addendum to go is an option too.

In Sonoma
There are several good hamburger spots to choose from.

In Healdsburg
I go to Dry Creek General Store but so does everyone else. Lines can be bad here especially on weekends.

Most of my clients want maximize tasting time by skipping the fancy sit-down restaurants during their tour. You can always go to a nice restaurants for dinner. For most of my clients lunch is a casual meal.
